And with online applications available, you can apply and get approved fast.

Make A List Of What You Like

Most people can point out what they don’t like. But remember that nothing is perfect. Maybe you need a washer and dryer, or an apartment that is not on the first floor for security issues. Just write down what you cannot do without. Other residents have to have their own personal parking space or need extra storage for their personal items. Whatever it may be, be sure you have listed your accordingly.

Take Some Time Off If You Need To

Don’t try to tour 6 or 7 apartments in a day. Not only will you tire yourself out, all the apartments will seem to run together. You simply won’t be able to remember which apartment had what amenities and features. And then stress will set in.

So tour 3 or 4 properties a day. And take a camera with you. Make an apartment file for each community you tour so you can revisit the file if you need to.

Remember to apply to at least 2 properties. That way you can always change your mind at the last minute.
